More Bio

I come from Gansu Province in the Chinese mainland. This province located on the Loess Plateau is (one of) the poorest provinces in the country, but it has beautiful scenery and rich historical heritage. I really miss the life here in my first eighteen years. My MBTI personality type is INFJ, which is often described as "The Advocate".

Before I came to HKU, my main school experiences are as follows:

2010-2016 Lanzhou Refinery No.2 Primary School (兰炼二小), Xigu District, Lanzhou.
2016-2019 The Junior High School Affiliated to Lanzhou Jiaotong University (兰州交大附中), Anning District, Lanzhou.
2019-2022 The High School Attached to Northwest Normal University (西北师大附中), ChangXu Experimental Class, Anning District, Lanzhou.

Hobbies

Outside of study and research, I enjoy spending time on:

Badminton I received some training during my primary school years, and to this day it remains almost the only ball sport I truly enjoy.
Running This is almost the cheapest and simplest form of exercise.
Chinese Chess I have a strong interest in Chinese chess, although I have never received formal training. On the Tiantian Xiangqi platform (天天象棋), my rank is Amateur 9-1 (业9-1).
Piano I began professional piano training at the age of four and continued for more than ten years. However, I have played much less in recent years and have become somewhat rusty, which is truly a regret.
Detective Mystery Novels I have read many works by Keigo Higashino and Agatha Christie, as well as other classics such as The Three Coffins 《三口棺材》 and The Da Vinci Code 《达·芬奇密码》.
